Memorandum for Parliamentary Select Committee (PSC)

1. Minimum Qualification
There are Members of Parliament and State Assemblies who can’t perform well in the Parliament and  State Assemblies. Their reasoning are illogical and meaningless. The PSC should recommend at least a degree as minimum qualification.

2. Equality
When parliament and state assemblies are dissolved, the members, ministers, deputy and prime minister lose their status. They are equal and do not have any powers as ministers. They are forbidden in engaging themselves in any functions and are not allowed to use government machinery and facilities . If they are invited, their capacity is no more a minister.

3. Usage of serial numbers in ballot paper
Voting is supposed to be secret election, but it is not true. Ballot papers printed with serial numbers and they can be cross checked with the voting person. The attendance of the voters is not signed by the individuals.

4. The role of media especially TV
Most of the TV stations are one sided and they carry with lot of propaganda. Equal time and participation should be given to all political parties and can not favour one.

5. Campaign period
The campaign period should be lengthened as it is provided in the constitution. The police permits must be given liberally to all political parties.
