countries do not recognise our education system because our policies
are not permanent in nature. Whenever a new minister of education is
appointed the existing policies are changed because of political
pressure.
The PPSMI policy was introduced by Dr.Mahatir in 2003 and the
government has spent a vast amount of money for the implementation of
this program. Before we could see the actual results, the existing
minister of education announced in 2009 that the government would
reverse the PPSMI policy and revert to Bahasa Malaysia. Many NGOs
have shown their displeasure towards this new policy. Giving reasons
that it will give rise to chaos is unacceptable
